Thank you for your interest in the latest technology for sizing and evaluation of Nordic (Cross Country) Skis. The DS Flextester II is the latest technology and provides all the information that skiers at any level need to be sure they are getting the best performance from your skis.

Often skis off the shelf are not Flex Tested for sizing to your weight or checked "flexed" to be sure that both skis in the pair perform the same.

If they are sized to your weight it is most likely to the antiquated methods of putting the bases to each other and squeezing the balance points together by hand or having the skier stand on the skis on a flat surface and checking the distance the ski compresses under full weight on one ski and then half weight?
